On Nov 27, Meltem Kuyumcu successfully defended her master’s thesis on ‘Salinization and warming effects on zooplankton community in Mediterranean shallow lakes: a mesocosm experiment’. Hearty congratulations and all the best for her PhD endeavors in Canada.

Hasan defended his thesis on Composition and Stratigraphy of Sedimentary Pigments in Alpine Lakes of Taurus Mountains, Türkiye on August 29. Big Congratulations to him for earning his masters degree.

We attended a seminar which was called “How to Write Effective Literature Reviews” that was organized by OGEM – Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching for OGEM Graduate Student Seminar Series about academic writing.
